Robin Pearce – January 2015 Student of the Month

Robin has a current GPA of 4.86 (not a typo) and a cumulative GPA of 4.17.

Current classes, all AP are Calculus BC, English Lit. Biology, Calculus AB, Spanish Lit., Physics and Engineering Design.

Robin will have 44 advanced placement credits at the end of this school year!

Robin has many honors including attending RYLA, 2nd place at the Trine competition, Spaghetti Bridge Competition (1st place load bearing, 3rd place authentic bridge, 1st place paper and 1st place overall), 3rd place in the Nation Chemistry Olympiad test in region, and honors awards in most of AP classes.

Extracurricular activities include golf, youth group and Nation Honors Society, and plays drums for his church.

Community Service include after school tutoring, ‘Fall Into the Streets’ (raking leaves for people in the community) and helping at God’s Bread Basket.

Robin plans to attend U of Michigan to study Molecular and Cellular Biology and Bio-medical Engineering.  He plans on pursuing a career in disease research.
