September 2014 Student of the Month, Lloyd was selected to be Clinton Rotary 2015 Student of the Year. He carries a cumulative grade point average of 4.048. He has an impressive list of Awards and Honors that he has received through high school. He enjoys being part of the French Club and the French Honors Society. He has been accepted into Rho Kappa, Earth Club and has joined the soccer team. Lloyd has volunteered to teach fire and tornado safety, worked in the North Shelby Library, worked with God’s Bread Basket he tutors his fellow student and works with the elementary school students. In his spare time eh likes to swim, read, hang out with his family plays piano and works on the farm. Lloyd wants to attend the University of Michigan and wants to major in Neuroscience in preparation for Medical School.
April’s Student of the Month, Anna Kersey was selected to be Rotary’s 2014 Student of the Year. She is currently taking I.S. Calculus AB, AP English, AP Biology, Lab Assistant, Law Education, Anatomy & Physiology, and Forensics. She has received numerous academic honors in her classes as well as “Excellence in Math & Science” award from Michigan Tech University’s Society of Women Engineers. She is a Scholar Athlete award winner in both Cross Country and Soccer. She is an officer of National Honor Society, Student Government, Earth Club, and is Captain of the Varsity Soccer Team. Anna is very active in community Service, helping with the Blood Drive, Adopt a Highway, Fall Festival, and Rotary’s Ribs & Blues to name a few. She enjoys sports, reading, music & being with friends and family. Anna plans to attend Trine University to pursue a career in Biometrical Engineering and has been accepted to the prestigious Allen School of Engineering at Trine. Anna is the daughter of Jeff & Tonya Kersey.
