Abi Schaffner – October 2014 Student of the Month

Abi Schaffner carries a cumulative grade point average of 4.045. She has honors in Volleyball, has been student of the year in 6th and 8th grade, and has achieved numerous academic awards. She was the 2014 Homecoming Queen, is a member of the Christian Athletes and has qualified for the Trine Math Competition.

Abi plays volleyball, is a member of the National Honor Society, is active in her church’s youth group is a member of Vocals in Youth Group Praise Band and is a camp counselor.

Abi has been active in both the local and international community through her work at Vacation Bible School, volunteering at Bay Shore camp, works with the Clinton High School blood drive, has been on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and works with Both Hands project. She helps tutor English with a Spanish speaking elementary school student.

Abi plans a non-traditional eduction after high school in that she wants to train to be a missionary. She is looking at the Alabama church called Brook Hills that offers training.
